About Us
Our 40+ Year Legacy: Total Building Products was founded in 1980 as a kitchen and bathroom cabinet manufacturer.
We were acquired by The Art Source, Inc in 2021, combining our years of experience with The Art Source’s manufacturing capabilities and innovative materials. The result is an expanded product line with a wide array of door styles and finish options, including painted finishes.
Made in Hawaii: All of our cabinetry is locally made at our 43,000 sq-ft manufacturing facility in Kapolei, HI. Utilizing moisture and pest-resistant materials imported directly from Italy and held in local inventory, we offer short lead times with the option of curbside delivery to any Oahu location.
Local Service: We pride ourselves on our commitment to the highest levels of customer service in our industry. From reduced shipping costs and our intimate, first-hand knowledge of the local market to personally answering your phone calls every time you call, our goal is to delight you with a pleasant, efficient and reliable experience.
Our ‘Ohana of Brands
Our diversified business model allows us to service multiple types of clients and projects. In addition to our valued trade partnerships through Total Building Products, we also provide retail cabinetry sales to homeowners through our Plus Interiors cabinetry division. As the Hawaii franchisee for California Closets, we leverage this best-in-class partnership to provide custom closet and storage solutions for Hawaii homes, complimented by interior sliding doors from The Sliding Door Company.
Together, our ‘ohana of brands in The Art Source, Inc employ 150 people statewide, including sales and design, manufacturing and craftsmen. We’re committed to local manufacturing here in Hawaii, and to providing superior value and service to our local customers.
