Limited Lifetime Warranty

Total Building Products hereby warrants its products to the original homeowner purchaser, a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions. The warranty begins upon date of delivery and is in effect for as long as the original purchaser owns the home.

Insect Infestation

Insect infestation of the cabinets is covered if the insects originated from a TBP product. The building in which the cabinets are installed must be under termite warranty and a regular maintenance program, and not already infested with termites for this coverage to apply.

Repair or Replacement

This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective part and does not include the cost of installation of a replacement product, removal, or transportation of the defective product.

Defects

This warranty does not cover defects used by improper installation, handling, storage, modifications, or assembly, exposure to the elements, abuse, or negligence. Any product used for any purpose other than the purpose for which it was originally intended is not covered by this warranty. Normal wear and tear on product is not covered by this warranty.

Natural Woods

Natural woods vary in color and grain patterns as they age. Cabinet colors may change over time due to exposure to light and other environmental conditions. These variations are considered natural and are not covered by this warranty.

General Information

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective item at the discretion of TBP. TBP reserves the right to alter design, specifications, and materials without obligation to make similar changes to products previously manufactured. If a warranty claim is filed after a style, finish, or product is no longer manufactured by TBP, we reserve the right to honor the warranty with a similar-looking substitute at our discretion. Total Building Products cannot guarantee that the finish of the replaced components will exactly match the finish of the original items due to the natural aging process that all products go through. Merchandise is not to be returned without proper written authorization from TBP. It is the obligation of the TBP Dealer, as a cabinetry professional, to thoroughly discuss product specifications and limitations with their clients.
